   1) A quiet atmosphere
   2) Free booze and hors de vours in the evening in the executive lounge area
   3) Free breakfast in the AM in the executive lounge area
   4) Free wireless internet in all the rooms
   5) A couple of treadmills who are only available to the people on that floor (so that they are more available than those on the other floors)

   I would say that the most important aspects are:

   The view
   The comfort
   The style
   The privacy
   The space

   Misconceptions are:

   Free internet
   Free breakfast
   Free perks

   These misconceptions will not work with an Executive Room. Most hotels will have these perks for all their guests or none. Someone in the Executive room will not be very sensitive to such small expenses and will either be willing to spend the money or expect to have them just like everyone else in the hotel if free.

   Hotels cater to business travelers as they are a mainstay of the hospitality industry. Executives are the big money spenders (and makers) that deserve not to be located around a family with 6 screaming children. It also gives the Exec’s a place to network, work-out, and/or get done whatever tasks they need.
