Yes yes yes! The Homewood Suites (by Hilton) in downtown Chicago. Lovely.

Try the Drake. Right on Michigan Ave. and Oak St. in the Gold Coast neighborhood.

Embassy Suites Downtown or Lakefront (part of Hilton). Prices might be more reasonable now than during the spring/summer. I’ve been to both of these Embassy Suites and the best parts are: room charge INCLUDES a scrumptous daily Breakfast Buffet and a nightly weekdays Manager’s Reception that includes drinks (free) and snacks. Depending on the length of your stay, both of these Embassys had coin-laundry which I really appreciated so I wouldn’t have to take a lot of clothes. All the rooms are suites: separate bedroom, bathroom and a sofabed in the living room. Bedroom and bathroom each have their own television. Hotels are close to Northwestern Hospital.
